Event 3: Alchemy + Art
Alchemy + Art Dreams are a very interesting topic that can sometimes mirror a person's real life. This quarter I had the honor of listening to Ann McCoy speak about dreams and alchemy. Ann McCoy’s research, findings, and art are something that I have never seen before. The thought that alchemy is a part of dreaming and dreams is a topic that is not brought up or studied by a lot of people, in my opinion. There are the ones that are so ridiculous that they cannot mean anything, and then there are the ones that mean something and are trying to send the dreamer a sign. During Ann’s talk, she spoke on the thought of dreams being signs from right below the threshold of consciousness. At least that’s what I understood and interpreted it as.
